NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team built a 25-point second half lead and held off a late rally to claim a 78-69 win over St. Scholastica on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.
Allyson Fuller and
Ella Skrien had 15 points each to lead five Oles in double figures.
Betsey Daly and
Margaret Andersen added 12 each while McKenna Ash had 11 for St. Olaf (5-6, 1-3 MIAC), which has won three in a row.
Fuller knocked down all five three-point attempts she took in the victory while Daly and Ash collected double doubles with 11 and 10 boards, respectively. The duo has combined for nine double-doubles this year. Ash has a streak of six in a row while Daly has three this season.
Holly Van Kempen had 17 points, Danielle Cieluch 13 and Mel Weisbrick 12 to lead CSS (3-9).
The Oles return to MIAC play on Wednesday with a home game against Hamline University at 7 p.m.
