ST. PETER, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team fell to Gustavus Adolphus College 79-61 on Wednesday night at Gus Young Court.
St. Olaf (2-6, 0-3 MIAC) was led by
Makenna Ash who posted her third double-double of the season with 14 points and ten rebounds.
Betsey Daly,
Ella Skrien and
Michelle Lother all contributed 11 points for the Oles.
Gustavus's (8-0, 3-0 MIAC) Mikayla Miller led all scorers with 25 points after shooting 7-for-16 from the floor and making 6-of-6 free throws.
St. Olaf was 22-for-48 from the floor and 6-for-17 from three-point range, but was plagued by turnover point conversions by the Gusties and missef free throws.
The Oles are on the road again on Saturday at Concordia College (Minn.) for a 1 p.m. game.
