NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Thomas scored a 4-1 MIAC women's hockey win over host St. Olaf on Saturday afternoon to clinch at least a share of the league's regular season title.
Megan Juricko's goal at 15:37 of the second proved the game-winner for UST (18-5-2, 12-4-2 MIAC). Juricko assisted on the game's first goal by Courney Umland. Umland assisted on the final score, a power-play goal at 7:25 of the third by Leah Schwartzman.Â
Riley Anderson scored the Oles' goal, at 5:37 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1.
Mae Moris had 30 saves, allowing two goals for St. Olaf. St. Olaf (2-21-2, 1-15-2 MIAC) went empty net for over six minutes.
