Oles trade games with MLC

NEW ULM, Minn. - St. Olaf traded victories with Martin Luther College in a non-conference softball doubleheader on Monday afternoon, winning the first game 2-1 before dropping the second, 5-1.

Game One: St. Olaf 2, MLC 1
Emily Carr was 2-for-3 and scored the go-ahead run as the Oles won the opener 2-1. Alex Lopez went the distance, scattering five hits in the victory.

Janelle Radue and Lillian Herber had two hits apiece for MLC.

Game Two: MLC 5, St. Olaf 1
St. Olaf was limited to three hits as the Knights won the nightcap 5-1. Carr, Stephanie Borndale and Woo Bandel had a hit each for the Oles.
