NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Greta Walsh had 21 points as Concordia-Moorhead rallied from an early deficit to defeat St. Olaf 56-47 in a MIAC women's basketball game on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.
Ella Skrien had 16 points and
Betsey Daly 12 and 11 rebounds in the loss. St. Olaf was a mere 3-for-20 from three-point range and made just 17 field goals in the loss. Concordia was not much better, but the Cobbers went 9-for-9 from the free throw line in the second half to seal the win.
The Oles raced to a 13-point first quarter lead. The Cobbers responded with a 12-2 run in the opening minutes of the second half to get back in the game. Concordia then used a 15-2 run to take a nine-point lead.
