ST. PAUL, Minn. - McKenna Peplinski scored the only goal in the conference match between St. Olaf (9-6-1, 6-2-1 MIAC) and St. Thomas (11-3-1, 6-3-0 MIAC) to hand the Ole women a 1-0 loss on Saturday.
With the loss, St. Olaf's lead over St. Thomas for second place in the conference standings has fallen to a single point. The Oles are three points behind first place Augsburg, who they play to close out the season next Saturday.
This is the fourth year in a row that the Ole women have lost to St. Thomas.
