NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's hockey team was defeated by Concordia-Moorhead 5-2 on Friday night at the Northfield Ice Arena.
The Cobbers (13-7-2, 10-4-1 MIAC) overcame a 2-1 deficit after the first period to get the win. Ellen Rethwisch scored goals two and three for Concordia-Moorhead.
Karma Knutson and
Natalie Kelly scored nine seconds apart in the first period to put St. Olaf (7-14-1, 6-8-1 MIAC) ahead 2-1.
Goalkeeper
Cassie Alexander had 23 saves in the loss.
The Oles will host the Cobbers again tomorrow afternoon to finish up the weekend series. The puck is set to drop at noon.
