Julie Graf threw a complete game shutout in a 3-0 game two victory as St. Olaf split a MIAC softball doubleheader with St. Catherine University on Sunday afternoon. SCU won the opener 4-0.
Game One: SCU 4, St. Olaf 0
Amber Montero went 2-for-2 and Sammie Galvez 2-for-3 with two RBI as the Wildcats topped the Oles 4-0.Â
Emily Carr went 2-for-3 while
Kristina Lodahl had the Oles' other hit in the loss. Krista Flugstad threw a complete game shutout for SCU, striking out six with no walks.Â
Game Two: St. Olaf 3, SCU 0
Lodahl was 2-for-4 and
Jessica Bentley 2-for-3 as St. Olaf (12-8, 1-3 MIAC) collected nine hits in the win. Carr was 1-for-2 with a pair of walks as she and Lodahl extended hitting streaks to seven.Â
Graf walked only two and scattered four hits to pick up her second shutout of the year.Â
Flugstad was 1-for-2 with a walk for SCU (15-7, 3-1 MIAC).Â
