Julie Graf tossed a three-hit shutout in a 3-0 game one victory and St. Olaf connected for three homers in a 6-5 victory in game two as the Oles swept an MIAC softball doubleheader from Saint Mary's University on Sunday afternoon.
Game One: St. Olaf 3, SMU 0
Graf struck out six while
Emily Carr delivered a two-run triple to cap a three-run third inning.
Alison Curry went 3-for-3 with a run.
Game Two: St. Olaf 6, SMU 5
Jessica Bentley belted a three-run, go-ahead homer in the top of the sixth inning as the Oles erased an early 4-0 deficit to get the sweep. Carr and Curry also homered, and Graf threw the final four innings in relief of Bentley to earn her 13th victory of the season.
Curry went 2-for-3 to finish the afternoon with five hits, two RBIs and two runs. St. Olaf (17-9, 6-4 MIAC) has won six of its last seven. The Oles play at Saint Benedict on Thursday before hosting Augsburg on Saturday.
