Claire Bash headed in a corner kick from
Sarah Fisco to give the Oles a lead they would not forfeit as St. Olaf defeated Saint Ben's 1-0 at Rolf Mellby Field on Saturday.
The game remained scoreless for over 80 minutes of regulation time until the Oles broke through with the header from Bash. Bash's goal is her first of the season.
With the win, the Oles stay stay perfect in MIAC play with a 3-0-0 record. This is the first time the Ole women have opened the season with three consecutive conference wins since 2011, when they reached four in a row before taking a loss.
