Allyson Fuller had 14 points off the bench, but Bethel University claimed a 78-42 MIAC women's basketball victory over St. Olaf on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.
Taite Anderson had 16 points and Jasmin Bretoi 14 points for Bethel. The Royals (7-4, 2-2 MIAC) raced to a 10-2 lead, but St. Olaf hung around. The Oles got within seven late in the second quarter and trailed by nine at the half, 34-25. Bethel then used a 19-4 rally to finish the third quarter to pull away.
Keegan Mulvihill added 10 points, five assists, five rebounds and four steals in the loss for St. Olaf, which plays at Augsburg on Saturday.
