SMU tops women's hockey 4-0 in series opener

WINONA, Minn. - Saint Mary's defeated St. Olaf 4-0 in an MIAC women's hockey game on Friday night. 

Natalie Ryan scored twice, while Courtney Moser had a goal and an assist for the Cardinals (9-13-2, 6-9-2 MIAC). 

St. Olaf (4-17-3, 3-12-2 MIAC) had four shots each from Kalli McCullen and Riley Anderson in the loss.

The Oles were scoreless on their only two power plays, while SMU was 1-for-3.
