ST. PETER, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team participated in the Gustavus Challenge on Friday and Saturday.
The Oles placed in the top three ten times in nine different events.
Marissa Wolff won the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:49.68. Wolff finished in second in two other events with times of 2:14.95 in the 200 yard IM and 18:21.41 in the 1650 yard freestyle.
Sophia Nevin added a second win for the Oles as she swam a 1:08.92 to place first in the 100 yard backstroke.Â
Helen Jensen finished in the top three twice. Jensen swam the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:32.71 to finish second, with Nevin right behind in third at 2:33.00.
In the 200 yard backstroke, Jensen placed third with a 2:16.15.
Linnea Rizzo placed second in the 100 yard butterfly, swimming a 1:02.36.
Kelly Punyko took third in the 100 yard freestyle at 56.85.
In diving,
Rose Peterson placed second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 350.35.
Next up for the Oles is the Northfield Diving Invitational hosted by Carleton on Tuesday.
