CLERMONT, Fla. - The St. Olaf softball team defeated Union College 10-2 before a loss to fourth-ranked Williams College by the same score on Monday afternoon at Legends Way Fields.

Kate Arneson was 3-for-4 while
Ally Bode,
Hannah Matthies and
Macy Vosbeek had two hits each as the Oles scored 10 runs over their final four at bats to claim the victory.Â
Arneson and Vosbeek doubled for the Oles, who took advantage of two Union errors in the win.Â
Rachel Niederkorn went the distance to pick up the pitching victory. Niederkorn allowed three hits and four walks in the six-inning, complete game effort.Â
No. 4 Williams 10, St. Olaf 2
The No. 4 Ephs raced to an 8-0 lead and knocked out the Oles with two runs in the fifth inning to seal the run rule win.
Bode was 3-for-3 for the Oles.Â
Lexi Curt was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI for Williams (11-3).Â
