LA CROSSE, Wis. - Sean Lonergan, Keith Ketola, and Paul Timm competed at the Last Chance Qualifier for the last opportunity to earn a spot at the NCAA DIII Championships.

Lonergan and Ketola ran in the 1500, both running career bests and finishing fourth and fifth in the race.  Lonergan was fourth in 3:52.24, which places him 22nd overall in DIII competition this spring.  The top 20 will qualify for the NCAA meet, but if competitors in the top 20 elect to compete in other events, Lonergan will move into the field.  Ketola ran 3:52.78, putting him 30th overall in DIII competition.

Paul Timm competed in the 5000, running a time of 15:43.23 to wrap up his collegiate competition career.

The decision on Lonergan and Ketola's NCAA qualification will be announced later this week.
