Kaleigh Santmyer hit a walk-off single and junior
Julie Graf threw her third no-hitter of the week in game one, as the St. Olaf College softball team took both ends of a doubleheader from Augsburg University, 1-0 (9 inn.) and 7-1, on Sunday at Edor Nelson Field.
Graf outdueled Samantha Anderson with a 16-strikeout no-hitter in game one, as Santmyer drove in the only run of the game with a two-out walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth for St. Olaf (16-10, 6-4 MIAC). The Oles tallied six extra-base hits in the second game to complete the sweep of Augsburg (12-14, 4-6 MIAC).
Graf's win in game one also made her St. Olaf's all-time leader in victories with 47 for her career, breaking a time with Dominique Kanavati '92.

For the third time this week, Graf tossed a no-hitter for the Oles, allowing just four walks with 16 strikeouts, the fifth-highest single-game total in NCAA Division III this season. Only one runner reached second base for the Auggies in the game.
Anderson matched Graf by keeping St. Olaf scoreless until Santmyer's heroics in the bottom of the ninth. A walk and hit batter but runners on first and second with no outs before
Jordan Melz advanced both runners with a sacrifice bunt. After Curry was out at the plate trying to score on a wild pitch,
Tarah DeCroock drew a walk and Santmyer dropped a single into center field to score Melz for the winning run.
The Oles had several chances to score earlier in the game, but Anderson escaped jams in the first, second and fifth innings to keep the game scores. St. Olaf had runners on second and third with one out in the first, a runner on second with one out in the second and runners on second and third and nobody out in the fifth.
After a one-out walk in the first, Graf set down 19 batters in a row until a one-out walk in the seventh. She walked a pair of batters with two outs in the eighth, but got out of the inning with a strikeout.
Anderson suffered the hard-luck loss, allowing one run on five hits and four walks in 8.2 innings with eight strikeouts. She fell to 8-8 on the season while Graf improved 10-9.

Sophomore
Ally Bode fell a home run short of the cycle, going 3-for-3 with a run and three RBI, and classmate
Hannah Matthies homered and drove in a pair of runs to lead the St. Olaf offense in game two.
First year
Sydney Robson earned her fourth win of the season by limiting Augsburg to one run on three hits in 4.1 innings, striking out five with just walk. Sophomore
Abby Grismer threw the final 2.2 innings, striking out four while giving up two hits and two walks, and also had three hits in four at bats.
Bode opened the scoring in the bottom of the second with a bases-clearing, three-run triple on a liner that got by a sliding Auggie center fielder. Santmyer made it a four-run frame for the Oles with a two-out RBI double to right center in the inning.
Matthies blasted her first home run of the season to right center to lead off the bottom of the third inning to make it 5-0. Augsburg got one run in the fifth on a bases-loaded ground out by Sarah Garcia that was headed through the right side before second baseman
Andrea Conway made a diving stop.
St. Olaf scored a pair of unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth. Bode started the inning with a double and later scored on an Auggie error, while Matthies added a two-out RBI single two batters later.
Ella Strunk took the loss for Augsburg, allowing seven runs (three earned) on 10 hits in six innings. The Auggie defense committed five errors in the game, leading to the four unearned runs for the Oles.
