Nomoto opened the home half of the ninth with a double and scored two batters later on a run-scoring single up the middle by Torbenson with one away. After a lineout for the second out, Ossell singled to right, Rogers singled to shortstop and McDonald lined a double to left center to score both Ossell and Torbenson.
