LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The St. Olaf College women's Nordic skiing team recorded a third first-place finish in a row, while the men's team took fourth in the 15K Freestyle at the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Championships on Friday at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.
The St. Olaf women had all six of their competitors earn All-America accolades (top 16) on their way to winning their 15th event out of the last 17 at the USCSA National Championships dating back to 2021-22. The Ole women totaled 10 points in the team standings to finish 17 ahead of Paul Smith's College, while the men tied for third on points (34) with the University of Wyoming but lost the tiebreaker to finish fourth.

Amae Kam-Magruder led a 2-3-5-6-8-14 showing from the St. Olaf women with a runner-up finish in 44:20.0, which was 18 seconds behind the individual champion. First year
Anna Peikert was 21 seconds behind Kam-Magruder in third (44:41.4), while sophomore
Liesl Cope-Schaeffer (5th, 46:04.3), junior
Lily Ward (6th, 46:10.0), and sophomore
Lizzy Weider (8th, 47:08.3) were also in the top eight to secure First Team All-America honors. Sophomore
Annika Fuhrmann finished 14th (49:45.5) to collect second-team honors.

Paavo Rova was 16 seconds behind the individual champion in his third-place finish (37:17.7) to lead the way for the Oles on the men's side. Sophomore
Daniel Gladkov and senior
Tait Myers were separated by a little over six seconds in 17th (39:37.2) and 18th (39:43.4), respectively, to account for St. Olaf's other two scores that factored into the team result.
The Oles will close out the USCSA National Championships with the Classic Team Sprint on Saturday, March 14.
