Five from baseball named to CSC Academic All-District Teams

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College baseball team put five student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District ® Baseball Teams, as announced on Tuesday.

Recent graduates Henry Black, Mason Buck, and Frank Lavin, as well as rising seniors Kanen Kreafle and Cole Pleimann, were St. Olaf's honorees on the list, which honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

To qualify for the accolade, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be at least a sophomore athletically and academically. In baseball, nominees must have competed in 90 percent or started in at least 66 percent of their institution's games. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.

Buck earned his third CSC Academic All-District ® accolade in a row, while Lavin picked up his second. Black, Kreafle, and Pleimann were all first-time honorees and advanced to the CSC Academic All-America ® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America ® honorees will be announced on June 23.
