NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's cross country team came in at No. 23 and No. 27, respectively, in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll and the D3 Glory Days XC Rankings, as announced on Wednesday.

After a weekend off from competition, St. Olaf maintained its positioning in the USTFCCCA national poll and extended its streak to 72 consecutive weeks ranked in that poll. The Oles dipped five spots in the D3 Glory Days rankings, which were updated for the first time in two weeks.

St. Olaf will head across town for the Running of the Cows on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Carleton College's Bill Huyck Championship Course. There will be three race divisions at the pre-nationals meet: the Navy Championship Division at noon, the Maize Division at 1 p.m., and the Open Division at 2 p.m.
