Pete Loizzo is in his third season at St. Olaf. Loizzo is the program's pitching coach and director of baseball operations. He also assists with the program's recruiting efforts and camps.

Loizzo was on staff as a volunteer in 2012 before spending the 2013 season as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers player development staff. He was the video coordinator for the system's Triple-A affiliate, Albuquerque. Loizzo also worked the Arizona Fall League for the Dodgers as a video scout.

Loizzo played for St. Olaf in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He was a member of the team's 2009 MIAC playoff championship team. He earned a degree from St. Olaf with a B.A. in political science and english.
