Sean DuBé is in his sixth season with the St. Olaf College baseball program in 2023-24 and was promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2023 season. He also serves as the program's recruiting coordinator.
In DuBé's five seasons at St. Olaf, the Oles have posted a combined record of 74-61 (.548), including a 27-15 mark in 2019. The 27 wins in 2019 were the program's most since 2009, as St. Olaf returned to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoffs for the first time since that same season.
After graduating from Hastings High School, DuBé was a team captain, Academic All-MIAC selection and MIAC All-Sportsmanship Team honoree at St. Olaf. He played on the 2009 team that won the MIAC Playoffs and advanced to the championship of the NCAA Midwest Regional. DuBé graduated from St. Olaf in 2011 with a bachelor of arts in English.
Following graduation, DuBé spent seven years teaching English and leading the New Prague baseball program as both an assistant and head coach, accumulating a .600 winning percentage and sending numerous players to compete collegiately. He worked extensively with the youth program and summer teams, created a competitive program through the weight room and impacted student-athletes with leadership development.
DuBé, who earned his master’s degree in 2015, currently teaches English at Northfield High School and resides in Northfield.
