AT ST. OLAF
2015-16 (First Year)- Welsh opened the season with an individual title in the 100 butterfly against St. Thomas. The 200 yard medley relay team welsh was a part of placed ninth with a time of 1:38.26 in the Minnesota Challenge. The Oles then picked up a victory in the 400 medley relay, winning the event by a five-second margin in 3:32.56 at the Meet of The Saints. Welsh led the Oles with two individual victories in the 200 yard butterfly and 500 yard freestyle as well as being a member of the first place 200 medley relay and the second place 200 yard freestyle relay agaisnt Macalester. He placed fifth in the 200 butterfly at MIAC Championships and was named to the MIAC Men's Swimmng and Diving All-Conference team.
