2024-25 (Senior) – College Sports Communicators Academic All-District… USTFCCCA All-Academic... Academic All-MIAC… INDOOR: Honorable Mention All-MIAC in the 3,000-meter run and 5,000-meter run… Ended career ranked fifth on program’s all-time performers’ list in the 5,000-meter run (14:37.25)… Finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run (14:59.72) and fifth in the 3,000-meter run (8:33.00) at the MIAC Indoor Championships… OUTDOOR: MIAC champion and All-MIAC in the 10,000-meter run… Honorable Mention All-MIAC in the 5,000-meter run… Ended career ranked seventh on program’s all-time performers’ list in the 5,000-meter run (14:25.21)… Won the 10,000-meter run (31:19.19) and placed fourth in the 5,000-meter run (15:13.04) at the MIAC Outdoor Championships.

2023-24 (Junior) – College Sports Communicators Academic All-District… Academic All-MIAC… USTFCCCA All-Academic… Chi Alpha Sigma inductee… Spring 2024 St. Olaf Dean’s List… OUTDOOR: All-MIAC in the 10,000-meter run (2nd, 31:10.16)… Honorable Mention All-MIAC in the 5,000-meter run (5th, 14:58.25)… Finished the season fourth on St. Olaf’s all-time list in the 10,000-meter run (30:08.43) and 10th in the 5,000-meter run (14:36.14).

2022-23 (Sophomore) – Academic All-MIAC… College Sports Communicators Academic All-District… OUTDOOR: All-MIAC in the 10,000-meter run… Was the runner-up to teammate Logan Bocovich in the 10,000-meter run in 31:00.48 at the MIAC Championships… Finished the season ranked fifth on St. Olaf’s all-time list in the 10,000-meter run (30:45.97).

2021-22 (First Year) – Fall 2021 St. Olaf Dean’s List… OUTDOOR: All-MIAC in the 10,000-meter run (3rd, 31:17.29)… Finished the season 10th on St. Olaf’s all-time list in the 10,000-meter run (31:17.29).

AT AQUINAS HIGH SCHOOL
Ran four years of cross country and track and field... Member of state champion cross country teams as a sophomore, junior, and senior and state champion track and field teams as a sophomore and junior... Conference champion and finished fourth in the state in the 1,600 meters and was sectional champion in the 3,200 meters as a senior... Conference champion and honorable mention all-state as a senior, conference runner-up and honorable mention all-state as a junior... First team all-conference in cross country and individual state qualifier in track as a sophomore... Also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore... High Honor Roll all four years... National Honor Society member.

Parents Dan Skemp and Dana Benden... Has two siblings - Will '26 and Jonathan... Double-majoring in mathematics and quantitative economics.
