Angie Kissock is in her second season as an assistant women's basketball coach at St. Olaf in 2021-22 after joining the staff on Sept. 3, 2020.
St. Olaf was limited to three games in Kissock's first season on the Hill due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Oles went 1-2 in the abbreviated season, defeating Macalester 75-71 at home on April 13 in the team's final game of the spring.
Kissock previously served as the head girls basketball coach at Chanhassen High School for 10 seasons from 2009-19. A former NCAA Division II student-athlete at the University of South Dakota and a member of the institution’s Coyote Sports Hall of Fame, Kissock has 20 years of experience coaching at the high school and collegiate levels.
During her 10 seasons at Chanhassen, the Storm posted a record of 147-124 and won four conference championships, including three-straight Missota Conference titles from 2010-11 to 2012-13. Kissock led Chanhassen to a program-best 22 wins in 2011-12.
Kissock was previously an assistant coach for the girls varsity program at Chaska High School from 1999-04 and 2007-08 and spent the time between those stints as an assistant coach for the Augsburg University women’s basketball program. In addition to her coaching duties, Kissock worked as a personal wellness teacher at Chanhassen and a physical education teacher at Chaska.
In her playing days, Kissock was a four-year starter and two-time First Team All-North Central Conference honoree at South Dakota, where she averaged a double-double in each of her final two seasons. A 2013 inductee into the Coyote Sports Hall of Fame, Kissock ranked 17th in program history in scoring (1,081 points), third in rebounding (889), and fourth in steals (213) at the time of her induction.
Kissock graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1999 with a bachelor of science in education and went on to earn her master of teaching and learning in education from Saint Mary’s University (Minn.) in 2003.
