Melissa Hager is in her fifth season as an assistant coach at St. Olaf in 2018-19.
Prior to coming to St. Olaf. Hager was the head coach at Bethlehem Academy for four seasons. She took a year off to spend time with her children, and then returned as an assistant for two years. The team took third at state during the 2013 season, was section runner up in Hager's first year as head coach in 2008. The Cardinals made the sub-section championship each season under Hager.
Hager taught physical education and health at Bethlehem Academy for seven years and now teaches elementary physical education at Lincoln Elementary.
Melissa is from Mosinnee, Wis., and played basketball at Ripon College. She now resides in Faribault with her husband Dan and children Cameron and Addilyn.
