Molly Fiedler is in her second season as the head women's soccer coach at St. Olaf in 2025-26 after being elevated to the position in June 2024 following two seasons as an assistant coach for the program.

In her first season leading the program, Fielder guided St. Olaf to a program-record 14 victories as part of a 14-3-3 (.775) campaign in 2024. The Oles earned the No. 4 seed in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoffs with a 7-2-2 (.727) mark in conference play and claimed their second-ever victory in the MIAC Playoffs before falling in the semifinals.

In 2024, Fiedler coached four United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees - the highest total in recorded program history - as well as four All-MIAC honorees. St. Olaf also had one Honorable Mention All-MIAC choice and two MIAC All-Playoff Team selections. Twenty-one of the program's 33 student-athletes earned Academic All-MIAC honors, while six were College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees.

The ninth head coach in program history, Fiedler was promoted to head coach after helping St. Olaf to a 16-11-6 (.576) record, including a mark of 11-6-5 (.614) in the MIAC, over two seasons as an assistant coach in 2022 and 2023. In 2022, St. Olaf posted its joint-highest win total (10) since 2010 and its joint-highest single-season MIAC win total (7) in program history, while also claiming its first-ever victory in the MIAC Playoffs.

St. Olaf produced two United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees, five All-MIAC selections, 27 Academic All-MIAC honorees, and nine College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections in her two seasons as an assistant coach. An Ole was also named the MIAC Rookie of the Year in both seasons.

A former two-time All-Big Ten honoree at the University of Minnesota who also played professionally for ZFK Spartak in Serbia’s top division, Fiedler reunites with Maines, who was an assistant coach for the Golden Gophers during Fiedler’s senior season of 2018. In addition to her standout playing career, Fiedler has coaching experience as a head coach for Salvo Soccer Club in Woodbury and St. Croix Soccer Club.

During her career as a Golden Gopher, Fiedler started all 87 of the games she played in from 2015-18, recording four goals and 26 assists, with the latter ranking tied for fourth in program history. The run of 87-straight starts is the second-longest run of consecutive starts in program history.

Fiedler was a Third Team All-Big Ten selection as a senior, a Second Team All-Big Ten honoree as a junior, and a Big Ten Freshman Team selection as a rookie. She helped lead Minnesota to one Big Ten regular-season championship, two Big Ten Tournament titles, and three NCAA Tournament appearances during her four-year career.

A three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar-Athlete, Fiedler graduated from the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development in 2019 with a bachelor of science degree as a family and social science major with a minor in youth studies. She went on to play professionally for ZFK Spartak in Serbia’s top division, starting all 33 of her appearances over the 2019 and 2021 seasons, including making seven starts in the European Women’s Champions League in Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Spain.
