Biography
AT ST. OLAF
2015-16 (Sophomore) - Competed in the 1650 Free at MIAC Championships. Placed fourth in the 200 yard breaststroke and second in the 400 IM versus Macalester College on January 9th. Maruyama placed fourth in the 200 yard butterfly versus St. Thomas on November 7th.
2014-15 (First Year) - Swam a little bit of every stroke, swimming for two personal best times in the 100 Back and 400 IM at the Northfield Colleges Quad Classic, another personal best and a 6th place finish in the 200 IM against the University of St. Thomas, and two more personal best times in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast against Gustavus Adolphus College. Maruyama finished her season with two more personal best times in the 100 Free and 200 Free at the MIAC Championships held at the University of Minnesota.
AT LAKEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL
Was a member of NHS, choir, and orchestra... Was a varsity letter winner for swimming senior, junior, sophomore, and freshman years, for track and field junior and sophomore years, and for soccer senior year.
