Kim Horner is in her third year as an assistant women's track and field coach at St. Olaf in 2017-18. Horner graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Anthropology from Luther college in 2011. During her time at Luther, she competed in cross country and both indoor and outdoor track and field. Horner competed on the Luther College cross country team that placed 6th at DIII Nationals in 2010 and focused primarily on the 5k and 10k distances in track and field.
Horner has continued to train post-collegiately for longer distances, including her debut marathon at Twin Cities two years ago and has coached at the high school level for the past 6 years in Little Falls, MN and Northfield, MN.Â
