Tom Evan returned to St. Olaf to join head wrestling coach Sean Ahrar's staff for the second time in 2019-20.
Evan previously coached with Ahrar for three seasons from 2012-13 through 2014-15. During that time, five Oles qualified for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships.
Evan, a former Minnesota state high school champion and US Central Plains Jr. freestyle runner-up, graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology/gerontology and captained the Mavericks' wrestling team.
Evan lives in Rochester with his wife, Wendy. The couple have three children, Alex '14, Nathan and Elizabeth.
