Member of track & field team for five years, football team for four years and wrestling team for four years… Academic all-state in football senior year… Selected to Minnesota All-Star Game as a senior… Captained football, wrestling and track & field teams as a senior… All-district selection in football as a junior and senior… Football teams won district titles as a freshman, sophomore and junior… Individual state tournament participant in wrestling sophomore and senior years… Captained wrestling teams junior and senior years… Earned three varsity letters in wrestling… Track & field teams won conference championships as a freshman, junior and senior.
