Jacob McNamara is in his first season as an assistant coach for the St. Olaf women's basketball program in 2026-27 after joining the staff in August 2026.
Prior to coaching at St. Olaf, McNamara was an assistant coach for the Goodhue High School boys basketball program helping the team to three consecutive state tournament appearances, including a runner-up finish in Class AA with a 30-2 record in 2025-26. He also coached the Southern Minnesota Fury Girls AAU team for the past three seasons.
McNamara played two seasons of NCAA Division III basketball at Bethany Lutheran College in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC).
