Solveig Christenson '20 joined the St. Olaf women's golf program's coaching staff as an assistant coach in the spring of 2024.
Christenson played four years of golf for the Oles from 2016-20 and ranked among the team's top two in scoring average in each of her final three seasons, including leading the team in 2018-19 (81.5) and tying for the team lead in 2019-20 (81.7).
During her career, Christenson earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) honors as a junior and Honorable Mention All-MIAC honors as a senior. She recorded three top-25 finishes at the MIAC Championships, including a career-best tied-for-13th performance as a junior.
Christenson graduated from St. Olaf in 2020 with a degree in exercise science and a concentration in management studies.
