St. Olaf College Athletics

Tyler Ebner is in his first season as an assistant coach for the St. Olaf men's hockey program in 2026-27 after being hired in May 2026.

A former Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) student-athlete at Gustavus Adolphus College, Ebner joined head coach Tyler Lindstrom’s staff after three seasons on staff for the Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). 
  
As associate head coach in 2025-26, Ebner was responsible for Minot’s defensemen and power-play unit, coordinating and leading on-ice skill sessions, breaking down video, leading weight room sessions, scouting, and other logistical and administrative duties. Prior to his three seasons in Minot, he was an assistant coach for the NCAA Division III men’s hockey program at Fredonia State University, helping the team to a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) playoff berth.
 
Ebner played four seasons of hockey at Gustavus before graduating in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and a minor in coaching. A four-time American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholar, he recorded 36 points on 17 goals and 19 assists in 76 games for the Gusties.
