St. Olaf College provides secondary athletic insurance for student-athletes who have sustained orthopedic injuries while participating in a scheduled NCAA practice and/or contest. In order to access secondary insurance, your son/daughter must be seen by the athletic training staff at St. Olaf College within 90 days of the initial injury. Unreported injuries will not be covered.

Once injury is reported, the athletic training staff will facilitate the process of filling out and filing the secondary insurance claim form. A secondary insurance letter will be sent to parent(s)/guardian(s) of the student-athlete or to the student-athlete him or herself.
