St. Olaf men defeat Saint Mary's University 1-0



NORTHFIELD, Minn.- Phumelela Sukati scored the lone goal of the match as the St. Olaf men's soccer team defeated St. Mary's University 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon. 

Sukati scored his first goal of the season in the 56th minute with an unassisted shot from the center of the box. The Oles went on to outshoot SMU 7-1, forcing SMU goalkeeper Joey Petrich to make five saves. 

St. Olaf remain undefeated in MIAC play with seven games played, winning six of seven matches.
