Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

St. Olaf women hang on to beat Gustavus 1-0

ST. PETER, Minn. - Emily Sierakowski led the St. Olaf women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Gustavus Adolphus with her goal in the 56th minute on Saturday afternoon.

 

Kajsa Brindley had five shots for the Oles (1-7-1, MIAC 1-2-1). St. Olaf  outshot Gustavus (1-5-3, MIAC 0-2-2) 11-4 in the shutout win for Ruth Hesse.

 

Monica Pelkey and Hannah Sturts each recorded two shots for Gustavus.

 

St. Olaf will be back home on Sunday to face Wartburg College.
