WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg College had goals from three different players in a 3-1 non-conference men's soccer win over St. Olaf on Wednesday night.
The Knights (9-2-2) had a goal from Kyle Sprain in the fourth minute and Zach Smith at 24:38 to take a 2-0 lead at the half. A Kevin Krueger goal early in the second half made it 3-0.
St. Olaf (7-3-1) avoided the shutout with a
Aaron Miller goal inside the final two minutes.
The loss snapped a three-match (2-0-1) unbeaten stretch for the Oles, who return home for three matches in the next week. St. Olaf will host Macalester on Saturday in a MIAC contest before playing UW-Superior on Sunday.
