BLAINE, Minn.- The St. Olaf men's hockey team lost their first game of the season Saturday night in a 2-1 defeat to Bethel University.
St. Olaf opened the scoring three minutes into the first period with a goal from
Jonas Fredriksson, assisted by
Steven Sherman. Bethel responded four minutes later with an unassisted goal from Tony Larson.
The Oles out-shot BU 34-21 throughout the three periods, forcing BU keeper Matt Arnold into making 33 saves.Â
The St. Olaf men play their second match of the 2014-15 campaign tomorrow afternoon against Gustavus Adolfus College.
