NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf football team lost the final game of the season to Saint John's University 26-6 on snowy Saturday afternoon at Manitou Field.

Saint John's (9-1, 7-1 MIAC) clinched the MIAC title with the win over St. Olaf (1-9, 1-7 MIAC) on Saturday guaranteeing a spot in the NCAA Tournament next weekend.

Saint John's ground game was led by Sam Sura with 136 yards on 25 attempts and two touchdowns. Nick Martin threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns, finding Josh Bungum on both scores. Bungum had 99 total reception yards on the day.

St. Olaf got on the board with 3:30 left to play in the third quarter as Nate Penz found Joel Reinhardt for the 3 yard touchdown.

Coleman Foley led the Oles in tackles with six while Colin Brown had four solo and five assisted tackles, including 1.5 for a loss. Brown led the MIAC with 16.5 tackles for a loss. Brice Peterson and Dylan McDonough each had an interception in the loss.
