NORTHFIELD, Minn.- The University of St. Thomas out-scored the St. Olaf women's hockey team 7-0 Friday night, giving the St. Olaf women their fifth loss of the season.
Nuala Flood scored three of the Tommies' seven goals on the night, scoring one goal in each period of play.
The Tommies managed 56 shots on the night, with 21 coming in the first period alone.
St. Olaf goalkeepers
Cassie Alexander and
Sam Ubl made a cumulative 49 saves on the night. Alexander made 32 saves during the first and second period of play, and Ubl completed 17 saves in the third.
The St. Olaf women play the University of St. Thomas again tomorrow afternoon in St. Paul.
