COLLEGEVILLE, Minn.- Carl Elmer and Hugh Ellerman won the 157 and 174 weight classes as the St. Olaf wrestling team fell 46-9 to Saint John's University. 


SJU won the 125, 133, 149, 184, and 285 weight classes by forfeit. The Johnnies also had victories in the 141, 165, and 197 weight classes.

St. Olaf's victories came from Elmer and Ellerman, who won the 157 and 174 weight classes respectively. Elmer defeated SJU opponent Ochirbat Bayanjargal 23-6, while Ellerman won with a 12-7 decision against Glenn Castro. 

The St. Olaf wrestling team will compete against Augsburg University on January 30th in Minneapolis.
