Justin Pahl had 12 points in the opening two minutes of the second half as a part of a game-best 26 points as No. 24 St. Olaf defeated Macalester College 74-52 on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.
Pahl had a three-point play to open the second frame and followed with three straight from long range as St. Olaf (14-3, 9-3 MIAC) turned a 26-24 halftime advantage to a 38-26 lead.
Ben Figini added 12 points and
Riley Aeikens 10 as St. Olaf shot 73.9 percent from the field in the second half after a modest 11-for-26 effort (42.3 percent) in the first 20 minutes.
Dylan Kilgour had 12 points and Kareem Ismail 10 for Macalester (5-12, 2-10 MIAC).
St. Olaf travels across the Cannon River to play at Carleton College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
