Sara Lind scored a goal in each game but the St. Olaf women's hockey team fell 3-2 in overtime Friday night to Connecticut College and 3-1 to Williams College (MA) Saturday afternoon at Arrington Ice Arena.
St. Olaf (0-10-1, 0-5-1 MIAC) opened the 2015 year with a trip to play neutral site games against Connecticut College (7-0-3) and Williams College (4-4-0).

The Oles got on the board first as Lind scored her first of the weekend just 1:40 into the game.
Drue Engleman was credited with the lone assist. The Camels scored twice in 1:31 stretch just a few minutes later and grab a 2-1 lead.
Jane Vezina tallied a power play marker with 7:46 to go in the first period to knot the score at two. Engleman earned her second assist on Vezina's goal.
That score remained the same through regulation.
Sam Ubl made 39 saves, including 15 in both the first and third periods, for St. Olaf while Katherine Chester stopped 19 shots for Connecticut College.
The Camels went to the power play early in overtime and cashed in as Michaela Igo scored 2:12 in OT as Connecticut College remained undefeated.

Much like Friday's game, Saturday afternoon's contest featured early action as the Ephs led 2-1 after 20 minutes. Lind scored her second goal in as many days, which evened the scored at one at 8:42.
Riley Anderson tallied the single assist on Lind's second goal of the season.
Williams College scored twice on the power play from that point to cap the scoring, the first at 12:26 of the opening period and the second with just 15 seconds to play in the game. The Oles were outshot 41-23 as
Cassie Alexander made 38 saves.
St. Olaf will return to action next Friday and Saturday as they play Wisconsin-Eau Claire in a home-and-home series. Friday's game begins at 5 p.m. in Northfield and precedes the men's hockey game at 8 p.m. against Northland College.
