MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The St. Olaf wrestling team was defeated by Augsburg 49-6 on Friday night at Si Melby Hall.
St. Olaf (1-4) was led by Carl Elmer who posted the only points for the Oles in the loss. Elmer wrestled in the 157 class and won his bout by pin.
St. Olaf was forced to forfeit the 125, 133, 141, 184, and heavyweight classes.
Will Keeter and Logan Hortop each had victories by fall for Augsburg.
St. Olaf will head to Eau Claire, Wis. next Saturday to compete in the Blugold Open.
