BoxSt. Paul, Minn.- The St. Olaf men's soccer team suffered their first MIAC defeat of the season with a 2-1 loss to Macalester College.
St. Olaf tallied seven shots, seven corners, and three shots on goal but were only able to score once via a solo goal from
Brenden Johnson.
Aaron Stets accounted for two of St. Olaf's three shots on goal. Stets forced Macalester goalkeeper Zeke Vainer to make two saves--the only two of the match.
The St. Olaf men will travel to Mankato, Minnesota on October 5th to play Bethany Lutheran College in their next match.
