BoxRIVER FALLS, Wis. - An extra time goal from
Lauren Martin lifted the St. Olaf women's soccer team over the University of Wisconsin River Falls Tuesday night in River Falls, Wisconsin.
St. Olaf out-shot UW River Falls 17-14, managing 10 shots on target.
Madison Van Wylen accounted for two of the Oles' eight shots on target, as well as assisting Martin's extra time winner.
Ruth Hesse helped to keep the Oles in the game, contributing six saves over 105 minutes of playtime.
The St. Olaf women will return to MIAC competiton this Saturday as they face St. Catherine University at Rolf Melby Field.
