PhotosNORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team defeated Bethany Lutheran College in a 59-58 win on Wednesday night in Skoglund Center.
Makenna Ash led the Oles in points and rebounds posting her first double-double of her career with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Betsy Daly was the other scorer in double digits with 10 points.
St. Olaf (1-1) finished the game with an edge going 23-63 from the floor with a 36.5% while Bethany Lutheran (1-1) went 18-56 from floor finishing with a 32.1%.field goal percentage.
Lauren Guiterrez led the Oles in assists with five and contributed nine points and three rebounds to the non-conference win.
Briana Brandts of Bethany Lutheran led all scorers with 15 points.
St, Olaf will be back at home vs. Crown College on Tuesday, November 24th at 7 p.m.
