DUBUQUE, Iowa - Wheaton College (Ill.) defeated St. Olaf 2-1 in the third round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer tournament in overtime on a snowy Friday afternoon at the Rock Bowl.

Max Carey netted the game-winner for the Thunder at 94:42. 

Jens Undlin scored the lone goal for the Oles off an assist from Keven Skrip at 47:43 to tie the game minutes after Wheaton (15-3-3) took the inital lead with a goal from Stephen Golz at 45:36.

The teams had their chances on the slow track. Wheaton had 23 shots, including eight on goal, while the Oles had 11 of their 18 on net.

Ole goalkeeper Ben Bramen finished the match with six saves while Matt Paprocki had eight for Wheaton. 

This was St. Olaf's seventh NCAA tournament appearance and first trip to the Sweet 16. The Oles finish their season 15-8-1.
