Betsey Daly and
Makenna Ash led the Oles in scoring with 10 apiece to pace the St. Olaf women's basketball team to a 51-34 victory over Martin Luther College on Tuesday night.
Daly was 5-14 from the floor, and also added 11 rebounds to tally a double-double on the night. Ash came off the bench for the Oles and added 10 with a field goal percentage of 50 percent. Ash also led the team in blocks with three.
St. Olaf defended well, amassing nine steals and eight blocks on the night, and held Martin Luther to a 21.2 FG%.
Afton Wolter and
Zoe Hansen led the team in steals with two apiece.
The largest lead of the night for the Oles was 19 with just under six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Oles are off until the new year when they travel to Bethel to play a MIAC matchup on Jan. 6.
